TRIPPING PROGRAM

Maine is the ideal setting for out-of-camp adventures!

Each week on Trip Day our girls mountain climb, flat and white water canoe, rock climb, camp, sail, ride bikes and sight see at points of interest in the northern New England area. They enjoy new experiences, and challenges under the supervision of our qualified staff.

Campers also have the opportunity for an overnight camping experience during their time at camp – sleeping in tents under the Maine stars and cooking over the campfire.

Older campers can also choose to go on extended hiking, canoeing, and biking trips.

Some of our destinations include Acadia National Park, Mt. Katahdin, the White Mountains, and the St. Croix and Androscoggin Rivers.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Camp is a magical place where special events can happen at any moment. Even with a scheduled program, no day is like any other.

Some of our exciting events include traditional Sunday night beach cookout and campfire, plays, costume parties, treasure hunts, color war, intramural sports, and skit and lip-sync nights, and weekly mini-courses, where the girls can learn anything from fishing to sand castle making, and international cooking to tie dying.

Each summer’s end is celebrated with “Team Parties,” a carnival planned by the oldest girls for their spirited Greens and Whites!
